| My Art Blog I don't update this as much as I would like to but you can check it out and see some of my projects in process.
My Facebook Page I visit my Facebook page a lot but I am not as active on there as most of my friends. It is great for finding people, though.
Linda Vandiver's Botanicals. Here is the link to the collection that I host on my webiste. You can write to her to ask for any information you might need. Her email address is at the bottom of the Botanicals page.
Michael Brown Wow! Check out his books. He might possibly be the clearest spiritual teacher I have ever come across. He has a blog and a great website with free audio files. His book "The Presence Process" is a must-read, in my humble opinion.
Eckhart Tolle I think that his book "A New Earth" is brilliant. Also, please check out his videos of a special 10 week series posted as PodCasts in conjunction with the book (featuring Oprah Winfrey).
Sailor Bob This is the guy that studied with Nisagardatta Maharaj and brought the message to a western audience. It is basically Neo-Advaita Vedanta. I have several of his recorded talks and listen to them often.
Compassion Works This is Jordan Shafer's website about non-duality. Visit his site and sign up for "The Daily Now", which is an email that features the writing of Eckhart Tolle, Michael Brown, Nisargadatta Maharaj, and Francis Lucille.
Nisargardatta Maharaj Click on this link to read the entire book "I Am That" posted on the internet.
Byron Katie and her husband Stephen have done some amazing work. This is a link to her website called "The Work". They both worked on a project in which he reads a short chapter of his translation of the "Tao Te Ching" and then she shares her thoughts. I loved it.
Dennis Waite is "the" expert when it comes to Advaita Vedanta. He has many books that you can find out about on his website.
John Wheeler is a great guy that has written several books that I guess I would classify as Neo-Advaita. He studied with Sailor Bob. I have called and talked to him a couple of times. He is very clear in his explanations.
Amien. Art Materials Information and Education Network. This is by far the best art information website! Check it out.
Daniel Martin Diaz This is some of the coolest work I have come across in a long time. It's very Catholic and dark, at the same time.
Mark Ryden This guy has an imagination like no one else! Brilliant stuff.
Donald Roller Wilson Roller is one of my all-time favorite artists.
Alex Grey Alex is a very mystical painter.
John Howard Sanden is a portrait painter that can paint a likeness in an hour. I have one of his books. Oh, and he also has a line of paints for the portrait artist.
ASW A great place on the web to buy art supplies.
M. Graham is my favorite paint manufacturer. Art Graham has a great website that promotes healthy techniques for artists.
Alison Krauss is one of the best Blue Grass musicians around. I think I have all of her CDs.
Amrit Kirtan is a kirtan singer from California. She has the voice of an angel. Her CD is called "Sacred Circle" and can be found on Itunes.
Chuck Wild performs under the name "Liquid Mind" and records very ethereal music for meditation and relaxation. We became friends several years ago and an interview of mine appears on his website! Check him out.
Connie Dover sings Celtic/Folk music. I was lucky enough to meet her after a concert in Tulsa. She used to sing with the group Scartaglen (sp?).
Deuter is a "new age" artist. Whatever you call his work, it's brilliant. I think I have just about everything he has released. He plays ALL the instruments on his CDs. I couldn't find a website that is his so I am using his record company link.
Dixie Chicks I had to include them on my list because I love their music.
Enya I am a huge fan of her work from way back.
Tallis Scholars is a group performing very old choral vocal music, mostly from the Renaissance period. It is heavenly. I am pretty sure that I have the entire collection on my Ipod. They publish through Gimell Records. The Gimell link sells a variety of downloads including MP3s and extremely high quality versions of the same song. Gimell has a beautiful website that I think I have single-handedly paid for over the years.
Indigo Girls I don't think it's a secret that I love the Indigo Girls. Their lyrics move me every time I listen to them. I have every release of theirs. They publish through Epic Records.
Iron and Wine This is very cool, modern folk music. He has a great beard too! Check out my favorite song, "Resurrection Fern".
Jonathan Goldman is considered a "new age" musician but I think he is more than that. This is great for meditation. Check out "Lost Chord" and "Ultimate Om".
Krishna Das is another kirtan singer. He might not have the best singing voice but his stuff is very fun and contagious to listen to. I don't care for the stuff in English.
Lisa Gerrard I discovered Lisa when she was singing for The Dead Can Dance. I like her solo work a lot. She has done a lot of movie soundtracks like "Whale Rider" and "Gladiator".
Loreena McKennitt is a brilliant Celtic singer. You have to buy her CDs because the CD booklets are not only beautiful but loaded with her writings.
Mindy Smith is a young country singer with a very unique sound. I really like her work.
Radiohead I love this band. They are so creative that their work isn't accessible to the average person. My favorite is the CD, "OK Computer".
Sarah McLachlan defies classification for me. Her lyrics are creatively breathtaking and it doesn't hurt that she has a beautiful voice!
Snatam Kaur is another kirtan singer but her voice is beautiful and her tunes are great. I wish she was wider known because I think her music is so important.
Tori Amos is another one of my favorite singers. I especially love her CD, "Scarlet's Walk", "Under the Pink", and "The Beekeeper".
Edward Swift. Edward is a brilliant writer and artist. He had a gallery in the Fabrica la Aurora and sold my bird prints. He is currently working on several books that should be released soon. We are working on a book cover together for his book "Daughter of the Doctor and the Saint".
K D Wentworth. K D is a brilliant Sci/fi Fantasy writer. Check out her book (one of my favorites!) "This Fair Land", and her newest book, "The Crucible of Empire", which is co-written with Eric Flint.
Hawk Publishing I worked for Hawk for a while doing book covers. The writer, William Bernhardt, is the owner of the publishing company. He is a great guy.
Orchid Mall This is the website for all things to do with orchids. The list of orchid vendors is staggering!
